General Summary</p>
<p>The P-3 Instructor Pilot (IP) Instructor &ndash; Special Qualifications (SQ) Subject Matter Expert (SME) develops training curricula and performs instructor duties for on-site mission system operator flight training in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) or Commercial contracts with military, foreign military, or domestic customers.</p>
<p>Essential Job Functions
</p><ul><li>Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on training of Pilots, NFO Tactical Coordinator(s) (TACCO), Navigator/Communicator(s) (NAVCOM), aircrew operators, aircraft technicians, or maintainers of systems or subsystems.</li><li>Analyze, design, and develop training courses and computer-based courseware from source material according to applicable standards and formats using company-developed software tools as well as off-the-shelf products.</li><li>May participate on a work team comprised of the Project Manager, other SMEs, Instructional Designers (ID), and Graphic Specialists (GS) to produce courseware. CAE Instructor Pilots - All for the pursuit of aviation excellence.</div><div></div><div><br>
Key responsibilities include:</div><ul><li>
Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in alignment with regulatory requirements, CAE curriculum, and customer expectations.</li><li>
Conduct professional, comprehensive pre‑ and post‑flight simulator briefings.</li><li>
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for client training and internal course development.</li><li>
Perform administrative duties such as completing training records, maintaining instructional qualifications, and recommending remedial training when needed.</li><li>
Provide instruction across one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and internal qualifications.</li><li>
After approximately 1.5+ years (subject to business need), qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.</li></ul><div>
Physical Requirements</div><ul><li>
Constantly ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.</li><li>
