The Instrumentation &amp; Controls Technician is primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of the production equipment to ensure minimal production down-time and a safe work environment.

<li>Install, setup and troubleshoot temperature, speed, weight, pressure, flow and thickness sensing instrumentation.</li>
<li>Able to monitor and troubleshoot controls using programmable logic controllers.</li>

<li>Maintenance and repair of electrical industrial control systems. Production equipment includes; material handling, bulk chemical systems, batch mixing, web coaters, extruding, converting and packaging equipment.</li>
<li>Responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the facilities equipment such as: HVAC, boilers, chillers, compressors, pumps, motors, pollution control equipment, life safety, electrical power distribution, network, hoists, docks and automated doors.</li>
<li>The position requires scheduled shift work, weekend work and emergency call-ins during off shifts to support production. The Technician will report into the Maintenance Supervisor.</li></ul> 
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS? 
We seek candidates with the following knowledge, skills &amp; abilities:

<li>Associate's Degree or equivalent in industrial, electrical, electronic or instrumentation technologies preferred - will consider those with HS Diploma or GED along with a minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance</li>
<li>Experience in troubleshooting PLC based control systems (Rockwell Software preferred)</li>
<li>Experience with analog temperature, pressure flow, speed and weight measurement</li>
<li>Experience with discrete sensors</li>
<li>Experience with process loop calibration and equipment</li>

Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
