POSITION SUMMARY: The Client Benefits Coordinator will prescreen clients for eligibility in the Medicaid program. The Client Insurance Benefits Coordinator will provide positive client experiences through responsive feedback and customer service and assist clients with benefit application to completion. 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Prescreen individuals for Medicaid eligibility for all Revive Ministries facilities</li>
<li>Educate clients and assist with Medicaid re-determinations when requested</li>
<li>Assist clients with updating their insurance plans when they have a life changing event</li>
<li>Assist with Intake insurance applications and provide any necessary follow up</li>
<li>Complete application assistance and support at partner sites</li>
<li>Follow up with all clients who have been screened and have submitted applications</li>
<li>Advocate for client benefit eligibility, and initiate a process for maintaining quality programming</li>
<li>Training and back up for the SNAP Benefit Coordinator when necessary, keeping abreast of all processes.</li>

<li>Perform regular Audits of SNAP transactions.</li>
<li>Always maintain confidentiality and program fidelity</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date, accurate reports and other data as required</li>

Mental Demands:
There are a number of daily deadlines associated with this position, which may cause significant levels of stress to some individuals. The position must deal with the clients, staff and insurance representatives daily on a variety of issues.
