Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented <b>Associate Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Design Engineer </b>to join our team! In this role you will get to develop ITS and Security Systems Designs for transportation infrastructure Projects.</p><p></p><p><b>
What You'll Be Doing:</b></p><ul><li>
Assist in the development of ITS system architecture and design.</li><li>
Support the design and documentation of ITS infrastructure using Autocad and BIM tools under the guidance of senior engineers.</li><li>
Assist in preparing network layouts, equipment specifications, cable routing and interface drawings for ITS systems.</li><li>
Review and understand the requirements of subsystems such as CCTV, VMS, traffic sensors, controllers, and communication devices.</li><li>
Contribute to the development of technical submissions, drawings, and bill of quantities (BOQs).</li><li>
Participate in design coordination meetings with multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>
Work closely with the ITS, Smart City, and infrastructure teams to ensure proper integration of communication networks with field ITS equipment.</li><li>
Learn and apply relevant ITS standards, technologies, and protocols over time.</li><li>
Participate in the development and review of engineering drawings and documentation.</li><li>
Help maintain document version control, revision tracking, Authority submissions, and design database updates.</li><li>
Coordinate with internal teams such as instrumentation, control, and IT for technical alignment.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
What Required Skills You'll Bring:</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer, Electronics, Electrical, Control, or Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>
Minimum 1 year of experience in ITS, Network, or Security systems design or implementation for Industrial, Buildings, Fire systems, Traffic, or Transportation Applications. However, Fresh Graduates preferably from credited Universities, Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, with High GPA, or Master&rsquo;s degree are encouraged to apply even with no relevant experience. are encouraged to apply.</li><li>
Basic understanding of ITS system structure, automation principles, and communication protocols.</li><li>
Familiarity with engineering documentation standards and structured technical workflows.</li><li>
Exposure to industrial automation environments, ideally in utilities or infrastructure sectors.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:</b></p><ul><li>
CCNA Certificate is a strong advantage.</li><li>
Capability to work with CAD and BIM design tools.</li><li>
Good knowledge of network design and implementation.</li><li>
Prior exposure to ITS components such as Traffic Signals, CCTV, VMS, radar detectors, or SCADA is a plus.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret network schematics and single-line diagrams.</li><li>
Detail-oriented and organized with a proactive learning attitude.</li><li>
Strong English communication skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>
Ability to follow instructions while contributing ideas for improvement.</li><li>
Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks under guidance.</li></ul><ul><li><b>
Soft Skills &ndash; </b>Eagerness to learn and grow within the ITS domain; Strong communication and teamwork skills; Attention to detail and a methodical approach to technical documentation; Willingness to work under the mentorship of senior engineers and contribute to collaborative project delivery.</li><li><b>
