The Interior Design Drafter supports Senior Interior Designers by producing accurate, detailed interior construction documents for luxury residential remodeling projects. This role is drafting-heavy and ideal for a technically strong designer who excels in Revit, AutoCAD, and interior detailing. As a remote contract team member, you will collaborate closely with the Company's design team to translate design concepts into precise drawings, take-offs, and project documentation used during estimating and construction. 
What You'll Do:

<li>Drafting &amp; Documentation</li>
<li>Produce accurate construction drawings, interior elevations, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, cabinetry details, and millwork drawings for luxury remodeling projects.</li>
<li>Translate Senior Interior Designer concepts into complete and detailed drafting packages.</li>
<li>Prepare revisions as needed throughout design and pre-construction.</li>
<li>Perform take-offs for materials, finishes, cabinetry, tile layouts, and specialty items to support budgeting and estimating.</li>
<li>Ensure drawings and documents meet the company's standards of quality, clarity, and completeness.</li>
<li>Design Support</li>
<li>Interpret design intent, sketches, and mark-ups provided by Senior Interior Designers.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing specification sheets, schedules, and documentation for selections.</li>
<li>Adjust drawings based on client feedback, project constraints, and vendor requirements.</li>
<li>Support rendering preparation when needed (Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop).</li>
<li>Project Coordination</li>
<li>Collaborate with designers, estimators, and consultants to ensure all documentation aligns with project requirements.</li>
<li>Integrate vendor information such as dimensions, installation requirements, and lead times into the drafting package.</li>
<li>Maintain organized digital project files and follow documentation workflows.</li>
<li>Support During Pre-Construction &amp; Construction</li>
<li>Provide clarifications on drawings when questions arise from Project Managers, trade partners, or vendors.</li>
<li>Update drawings if modifications are required due to field conditions or design adjustments.</li>
<li>Ensure drafted details accurately reflect selected products and design elements.</li>

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an Interior Design Drafter who brings:

<li>Technical Skills</li>
<li>High proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (Revit strongly preferred).</li>
<li>Skilled in interior construction documentation and detailing.</li>
<li>Experience with Illustrator &amp; Photoshop for visual presentations (preferred). Chief Architect experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to produce drafting sets for kitchens, baths, millwork, interior elevations, and luxury residential remodels.</li>
<li>Experience</li>
<li>2-3+ years of interior design drafting experience, preferably in luxury residential or high-end remodeling.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of interior construction methods, cabinetry, millwork, and architectural detailing.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.</li>

<li>Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.</li>
