The Online Sales Consultant will respond to new home sales phone calls, emails, web inquiries and chat inquiries and directs pre-qualified leads to the appropriate sales office at a Meritage Home community. Serve as the first point of contact and local market expert in for all new leads and as the liaison between new homebuyers, realtors and the onsite sales associates.</div><div></div> 
The Online Sales Consultant will be responsible for:<ul><li>
Respond to all internet leads immediately, upon initial request for information.</li><li>
Respond to caller inquiries immediately or at maximum within 1 hour from initial call.</li><li>
Engage with chat inquiries immediately during designated business hours.</li><li>
Build rapport with the prospective buyer, or buyer&rsquo;s agent by answering questions, take them through the discovery process, highlight energy efficient features, community amenities, and special features, review the variety of plans and move-in-ready homes, or otherwise provide the prospective buyer or realtor with enough information to generate further interest.</li><li>
Utilize lead management software (Salesforce) to manage and nurture leads and realtors through a series of follow-up to maintain continuous engagement and uncover incremental sales.</li><li>
Utilize strong prospecting skills to work all leads until they are ready to move to the next phase of the sales process.
</li><li>Schedule initial appointment between the customer with or without a realtor, and Sales Associate.</li><li>
Initiate and maintain email drip/nurture campaigns using Salesforce CRM.</li><li>
Maintain relationships with on-site Sales Associates through regular contact, attend sales rallies and participate in ongoing training.</li><li>
Coordinate with the Marketing Department to maintain the accuracy of the information on the website and all internet related marketing.</li><li>
Responsible for product and community knowledge to assist in generating internet leads.</li><li><ul><li>

Know size, number of homes, future plans and restrictions.</li><li>
Know area details for local property taxes, HOA fees, PIDS.</li><li>
Know the area around the community &ndash; Interstates, Shopping, Schools, Churches, etc.</li><li>

Follow outlined workflow processes for each lead type to ensure proper follow-up and to keep customers engaged.</li><li>
Conduct outbound call campaigns to reach out to current Meritage Homes&rsquo; customers and realtors and inform them of grand openings, sales events, realtor events, model releases, etc. and schedule appointments.</li></ul>
