</div><div>The Internship Programme aims at attracting talented students and graduates who have a specific interest in, or whose studies have covered, areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities. Interns must be between 20 and 36 years old and should have less than two years of relevant working experience.

<div>In general, the Internship Programme aims at attracting talented students and graduates who:

<div>a) have a specific interest in, or whose studies have covered, areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities;
</div><div>b) are holding a scholarship for internship placements in international organizations and/or for whom internship is required to complete their studies; or
</div><div>c) are sponsored by governmental/non governmental institutions and/or academia to work in specific areas relevant to both IOM and the sponsor.
</div><div>d) are either enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor&rsquo;s level or equivalent) or have graduated in the last 12 months.
</div><div>e) are between 20 and 36 years of age.

<div>Background Information</div></div>
 <div><ul><li><div>Responsibilities: Working under the overall direction of the Chief of Mission in Doha, Qatar and the direct supervision of the Migration Management Officer, the intern will assist with the operational activities of the Mission within the Migration Unit. 
 
The intern will assist within the Migration Management Unit as follows: 
 
Assist with preparing visibility materials on migration in both English and Arabic; 
 
Assist with preparing communication materials including content creation for brochures and PowerPoints in both English and Arabic; 
 
Assist in the organization of workshops, meetings, and conference including taking minutes of meetings, drafting meeting reports, and preparing for meeting logistics; 
 
Contribute to the expansion of IOM activities in the country including through the identification of project opportunities and project ideas on migration management; 
 
Interact with IOM partners on relevant activities; 
 
Assist with enhancing the social media presence of IOM Qatar including through the creation of social media content; 
 
Perform such other duties as may be assigned.</div></li></ul></div>
 <div>Qualifications: Required Qualifications and Experience 
 
Education 
 
Be enrolled in the final academic year of Bachelor&rsquo;s / Master`s level or equivalent. 
 
be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); 
 
or have graduated with a university degree ( not later than 1 year ago ) . 
 
Experience and Skills 
 
Technical mastery of the following software programs: MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint; 
 
Excellent Communication skills; 
 
Ability to handle routine and repetitive tasks; 
 
Good organisational skills ; 
 
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure; 
 
Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues within a team from varied cultures and professional backgrounds. 
 
Languages 
 
For this internship, Fluency (both oral and written) in English and Arabic are required. 
 
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.

</div><div>The internship is for an initial period of three months, with an opportunity for extension up to a total period of six months. This internship opportunity is designed to be full-time and in person. This position is located in the Office of the Victims' Rights Advocate (OVRA). The mandate of the Victims' Rights Advocate was created as part of the four-pronged strategy set out in the 2017 report of the Secretary-General to the General Assembly on special measures on protection from sexual exploitation and abuse: a new approach (A/71/818). The mandate is directed to ensuring that the rights and dignity of victims are at the forefront of all elements of the United Nations system-wide response to sexual exploitation and abuse alleged to be perpetrated by United Nations uniformed or civilian personnel and non-United Nations troops serving under a Security Council mandate. The intern will support the work of the Office of the Victims' Rights Advocate and work under the supervision of the Human Rights Officer. Tasks
 
As an Undergraduate Summer Intern, you will join the DPI Venture Capital team and work alongside our investment and platform professionals, gaining first-hand exposure to how a venture capital fund operates. The programme begins with an intensive two-week training bootcamp designed to bring you up to speed on core VC concepts, including valuations, cap tables, business model analysis, due diligence, investment memo writing, fund operations, LP relations, IESG, and professional ethics. These sessions are delivered by internal team members and external experts. After the bootcamp, you will put your training into practice by supporting the team on market research, competitive landscape analysis, data gathering, portfolio monitoring, and operational projects. You will also attend weekly expert guest speaker sessions featuring FinTech founders, industry leaders, and technology specialists. This programme is designed for curious, driven students who want to explore venture capital as a career path and build practical, real-world skills in an investment environment.

Requirements
 
Candidate Profile:
