 Alternatively, a combination of education, specialized training, and certification that meets the qualifications set forth by OPWDD.
 
 
 Ability to be considered for a Level 1 or Level 2 Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) under OPWDD regulations.

As an Overnight 988 Crisis Intervention Specialist, you are not the first voice on the line - you are the clinical anchor behind the scenes. You support Crisis Specialists in real time as they respond to people reaching out through the 988 Suicide &amp; Crisis Lifeline via phone, chat, and text.

This employment opportunity is to serve as a Community Service Aide (Abuse Intervention Specialist) to facilitate court mandated group programming for individuals who have used abusive behaviors in intimate partner relationships. Under direction, will perform a variety of routine field and office work involved in community-oriented programs. This position delivers structured, evidence based psychoeducational programming focused on offender accountability, behavior change, and victim/survivor safety.
Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may vary across programs, Directors will provide specific guidance.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Facilitate and oversee the IEP process, using diagnostic data as appropriate, including reviewing IEP planning sheets, developing district IEPs, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with IEP team members.</li><li>Partner with district representatives and internal teams to complete Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs).</li><li>Coordinate and complete Extended School Year (ESY) meetings; ensure all required documentation is submitted.</li><li>Schedule, facilitate, and document transition meetings; communicate transition services and IEP-related information to families.</li><li>Oversee course grading, including maintaining grading systems and identifying discrepancies or failing grades.</li><li>Support the upload of progress reports into SAFE.</li><li>Prepare and maintain accurate student transcripts.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ODEW graduation requirements, including internal tracking of student progress.</li><li>Develop and update student course outlines annually.</li><li>Oversee high school scheduling, ensuring alignment with course outlines and transcripts.</li><li>Oversee credit recovery programs.</li><li>Ensure curriculum scope and sequence alignment across program</li><li>Minimum Qualifications and Abilities</li><li>A professional Intervention Specialist license through the Ohio Department of Education &amp; Workforce (ODEW) with a minimum of 5 years of experience writing and overseeing IEPs.</li><li>Is a confident public speaker and a dedicated educator who keeps up to date on the latest tools and resources needed to improve employee training and performance.</li><li>Will have excellent time management and organizational skills adhering to established training schedules and work deadlines.</li><li>Strong computer skills, G-Suite, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and instructional software.</li><li>A Master's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
