Sheeter Overview:

A Sheeter is responsible for sheeting buildings and roofs.

Sheeter Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Spreads screws and/or welds metal sheets of steel for floor or roof decking and on sides of buildings.</li>
<li>Flash and trim buildings with reasonable ease.</li>
<li>Lay out sheeting for cutting to appropriate sizes.</li>
<li>Handle sheets on the ground and secure sheets on walls and roof.</li>
<li>Performs the functions as a Structural Ironworker.</li>
<li>Responsible for adhering to the company safety and QA/QC programs, as well as OSHA rules and regulations.</li>
<li>Use electrical tools such as screw guns, nibblers, and shears to secure sheets on buildings and roofs.</li>
<li>The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.</li>
</ul>
Sheeter Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school education or equivalent.</li>
<li>A minimum of two years&rsquo; experience as a sheeter and/or ironworker is required.</li>
<li>Must have a tape measure, vise grips, crescent wrenches (10 and 12&rdquo;), tin snip (left/right) and a tool belt.</li>
<li>Must Pass a Hair Follicle Drug Screen</li>
<li>Must be Bilingual. English/Spanish</li>

Sheeter Physical Demands:

<li>Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds frequently.</li>
