Role Overview:</h5>
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in PHP 8+ and Laravel. You will be a key architect in our shift toward a robust microservices and event-driven architecture. This isn&rsquo;t just a &quot;coding&quot; role; we expect our seniors to be platform-aware, helping us move away from a &quot;throw it over the wall&quot; culture to one of true engineering ownership.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Architecture &amp; Development: Design and implement scalable microservices using PHP 8.4 and Laravel.</li></ul><ul><li>
Infrastructure Ownership: Leverage AWS and Docker to deploy and manage services. We value engineers who can navigate container orchestration independently.</li><li>
Data Integrity: Optimize MySQL for transactional reliability and utilize MongoDB or Redis for high-performance data needs.</li><li>
Event-Driven Design: Build decoupled systems using asynchronous patterns (SQS/Event systems) to ensure marketplace resilience.</li><li>
Testing &amp; Quality: Implement TDD (Unit and Integration) to protect our core revenue Streams</li></ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader">
Required Skills:</h5><ul><li>
5-8 years of Development experience</li><li>
Essential: Strong proficiency in PHP 8+ / Laravel, MySQL, and Docker.</li><li>
Experience: Proven track record in Microservices and Event-Driven Design.</li><li>
Cloud: Solid understanding of AWS core services.</li></ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader">
Desired Skills:</h5><ul><li>
(The &quot;Platform-Aware&quot; edge): Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform).</li><li>
