ECS is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and modernize the operational backbone of the SEC's IT environment &mdash; encompassing Data Center operations, the Network Operations Center (NOC), and Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities. This is a critical leadership role: you will be responsible for the 24/7 reliability of the systems that the SEC depends on to fulfill its regulatory mission, while simultaneously driving these operations toward greater automation, intelligence, and resilience.

The SEC is not looking for someone who will simply manage shifts and keep the status quo running. The agency is investing in AI-driven operations (AIOps), automated incident response, predictive monitoring, and infrastructure automation &mdash; and your operations teams need to be at the center of this transformation. System Maintenance &amp; Upgrades<ul><li>Plan and execute Odoo upgrades and migrations</li><li>Troubleshoot system issues and ensure minimal downtime</li><li>Continuously improve system performance and scalability</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;10 years of experience in IT management</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (v13&ndash;v17 or latest versions)</li><li>Proven experience handling full ERP lifecycle implementation</li></ul>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of Python, XML, JavaScript (for Odoo customization)</li><li>Expertise in PostgreSQL database management</li><li>Experience with Linux servers (Ubuntu preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Odoo.sh)</li><li>API integration (REST, JSON-RPC)</li><li>Version control (Git)</li></ul>Functional Expertise in Odoo:<ul><li>Deep understanding of:</li><li>Financial workflows (invoicing, taxation, reporting)</li><li>Supply chain &amp; inventory management</li><li>HR and payroll processing</li><li>CRM and sales pipelines</li><li>Manufacturing and operations</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Odoo Certification (Functional/Technical)</li><li>Experience in multi-company, multi-branch environments</li><li>Knowledge of local compliance (e.g., VAT regulations)</li><li>Experience in property management, contracting, or service industries</li></ul>Key Competencies:<ul><li>Leadership and team management</li><li>Strategic planning and execution</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure</li></ul>Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR20,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
