This role will lead project planning and execution, facilitate Agile activities, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery across multiple data teams. BI Delivery: 
 
This role will develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Stakeholder Mgt: 
 
This role will be the primary point of contact for project sponsors; run steering updates and keep stakeholders informed with transparent status reporting. Manage demand intake and prioritization using clear value frameworks. The role will mediate between the business, product owner and technical team, to resolve conflicts and influence decisions during the solution cycle. This role will also be responsible for overseeing the change management and adoption milestones within the overall project plan. 
 
Agile Coach: 
 
This role will serve as Scrum Master, facilitating sprint planning, daily scrum, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. They will partner with Product Owners to create a value-focused backlog, define MVP/MMP, and ensure clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria. They will remove impediments, optimize productivity flow (throughput), and cultivate continuous improvement via metrics (velocity, lead time, defects). 
 
The base salary range for this role is $99,900 - $130,000. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. REMIT supports the Government of Pakistan, its ministries, and institutions in enhancing revenue mobilisation, improving the investment climate, reducing trade barriers, and strengthening macroeconomic policy management.
 
 
 REMIT is engaged with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in a multifaceted collaboration aimed at boosting taxpayer compliance. This includes redesigning various services in FBR&rsquo;s filing portal with a view to enhance service delivery and user experience. By adopting a Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach, REMIT&rsquo;s FBR Service Design Initiative (SDI) aims to streamline the taxpayer journey, broaden the tax base, and deliver world-class services for taxpayers, tax agents, and officials, ultimately increasing revenue collection and supporting Pakistan&rsquo;s economic objectives.
 
 
 REMIT has been engaged in this initiative since 2023, completing initial assessments and process reviews, Redesigning IRIS features - most notably the simplified income tax return - and recently redesigning all income tax workflows for tax collectors and taxpayers on IRIS. Working closely with the Compliance Lead, the Specialist provides analysis, documentation, and due diligence to support risk-based decision-making and to maintain compliance throughout the full project lifecycle. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 
Project Advisory &amp; Engagement
<ul><li>Serve as a dedicated compliance advisor to project managers and delivery teams.</li>
<li>Identify regulatory, policy, and control requirements early in the project lifecycle and ensure they are embedded into technical designs and project plans.</li>
</ul>Gate Review &amp; Approval Support
<ul><li>Participate in project phase-gate reviews to assess compliance readiness.</li>
<li>Review project artifacts and provide formal recommendations to the Compliance Lead to support approval, conditional approval, or remediation decisions.</li>
</ul>Compliance Lead Support
<ul><li>Function as the primary support resource for the Compliance Lead.</li>
<li>Assist with executive reporting, remediation tracking, and escalation of project-level compliance risks.</li>
</ul>Regulatory &amp; Framework Alignment
<ul><li>Ensure project alignment with applicable regulations and frameworks, including SOX, CCPA, ISO 55001, and internal company standards.</li>
<li>Map project controls and artifacts to regulatory requirements to support a consistent and defensible compliance posture.</li>
</ul>Qualifications 
Experience
<ul><li>5+ years of experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit, or Governance, Risk &amp; Compliance (GRC), preferably supporting large-scale IT projects.</li>
</ul>Tools &amp; Systems
<ul><li>Experience using Planisware for project tracking, portfolio governance, and milestone management.</li>
</ul>Education
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related discipline.</li>
