As a Zone Manager the following duties and responsibilities will be a part of this opportunity, but are not limited to them:<ul><li>
Manages the customer and vendor relationship for assigned accounts within zone.</li><li>
Perform monthly/ quarterly visits with customer district and regional management to ensure customer satisfaction and relationship.</li><li>

Requirements for our Zone Manager:<ul><li>
3 years of management experience with 3-years in a janitorial or building maintenance/service industry, or exterior services, or restaurant industry, preferred.</li><li>
Maintain ongoing knowledge of all compliance standards (OSHA, State/ Federal, and KBS).</li><li>
Experience in maintaining or supporting staffing levels in support of defined budgets, crews, and customer relations.</li><li>
Ability to analyze area profit and loss (P&amp;L) statements to ensure expenses are within budget.</li><li>
Ability to understand project management and related project planning, while communicating any changes and progress.</li><li>
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with each client and ensure the best service levels in accordance with the contract.</li><li>
Ability to manage staff employment cycle: Hire, train, manage performance including disciplinary actions and terminations.</li><li>

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Janitorial Stewards may be required to work on a night shift. Dayshift work hours are variable and subject to change with very little notice.</li><li>
Participates in MCI trainings and drill as determined by supervisor.</li><li>
Agrees with and adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures and tasking responsibilities janitorial duties.</li><li>
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li><li>
Able to complete assignments in a timely, organized manner, following through with tasking from beginning to end.</li><li>
Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement to the attention of the Janitorial Steward Coordinator, Lead Janitors.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned by manager-on-duty.</li></ul>
EDUCATION:
<ul><li>High school education or GED.</li></ul>
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
<ul><li>Current ServSafe Food Handler certificate must be obtained prior to deployment to Antarctica.
</li><li>Valid driver's license
</li><li>Valid U.S. Passport</li></ul>
EXPERIENCE:
<ul><li>Minimum of one year experience in a custodial related or manual labor industry required.
</li><li>Previous experience with Stations Services in Antarctica may be accepted in lieu of minimum experience.
</li></ul>OTHER:
<ul><li>US citizenship or permanent residency required</li><li>
A prerequisite of employment for this position is to successfully gain a favorable Tier 1 - Elevated Background Investigation (EBI) result prior to deployment. Candidates hired for this position will be required to complete; online forms, written forms, fingerprint cards and provide additional details and information as requested by NSF Personnel Security.</li></ul>
