This work spans three phases:
1. Remote work for a period of approximately six months, with travel and assignment to work at the prime contractor's Systems Integration Lab in near Syracuse, NY (about once every month), until the AOC System is packaged for shipment to Kuwait in late 2025/early 2026. Core hours of operations are 9am-5pm EST. Tasks in this phase include:<ul><li>
Attending and contributing to all scheduled meetings with the customer.</li><li>
Assisting in establishing/utilizing a virtual CONUS-based SCE SIL for system(s) risk reduction, systems integration, validation, and verification activities required to meet the requirements of the contract.</li><li>
Assisting in establishing a developmental environment to be comprised of Prime Mission Equipment (PME) purchased for the AOC System and assembled at the Contractor facility.</li><li>
Using the Prime Mission Equipment (PME) to assist in developing an environment for integration and verification testing.</li><li>
Providing support and input to the contract team on all testing events, procedures, plans, scenarios, and documentation, including the Test Readiness Review (TRR), Systems Acceptance Test (SAT) events, and performance of Functional and Physical Configuration Audits.</li><li>
Assisting in documentation to include, but not limited to, system design changes, installation plans, and test and evaluation.</li><li>
Supporting the development of courseware and training tailored to the customer focused on system administration, daily operations, system setup and con&#64257;guration, data link operations and management, user interface for all components, and tactical C2 operations.</li><li>
Supporting the packaging and preparation of the equipment for inspection and acceptance by the US Government (Defense Contracts Management Agency) prior to turnover to the Freight Forwarder.</li></ul>
2. Kuwait for approximately six months (beginning Feb/Mar 2026 to begin installation and test activities), with some travel back and forth to the United States. Tasks include:<ul><li>
Supporting the distribution and installation of PME equipment.</li><li>
Supporting the integration and implementation across all aspects of the modernized system.</li><li>
Assisting in the execution of System Acceptance Test activities to include Test Readiness Review, System Acceptance Test, Deficiency management, and performance of Functional and Physical Configuration Audits.</li><li>
Assisting in documentation to include, but not limited to, system design changes, test, and evaluation reports.</li><li>
Supporting the instruction of KAF personnel.</li></ul>
3. Kuwait for approximately a year, from summer 2027 through mid-September 2027). Once the PME is deployed, with System Acceptance and training complete, the employee responsibilities will transfer to ongoing support. The initial primary duty location will be the Kuwaiti AF AOC, and the employee will perform duties on-site nominally during an 8-hour duty day, five (5) business days/seven (7) calendar days per week; and remain available during non-duty hours by telephone and email for recall to duty. Employee tasks include:<ul><li>
On-site system operation, administration, and maintenance support.</li><li>
On-the-Job training conducted by resident Field Service Representatives (FSR).</li><li>
Perform identification and resolution activities to address problems experienced in the field and additionally support and facilitate end user on the job training and understanding of how to operate the system for its intended purpose.</li><li>
Assist in maintaining available spares at 100% of recommended quantities, including ordering and tracking spares levels. Upgrades that are documented in Field Change Notices shall be installed by the FSR after receiving written approval from the Government Configuration Control Board.</li><li>
Document and track System Anomalies and Deficiencies, experienced by KAF operators, administrators, and maintenance personnel during the warranty period. The Contractor shall establish a reporting process, including initiation (logging), tracking, and resolution, according to company best practices.</li><li>

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:<ul><li>
The candidate will ideally possess five (5) years of diverse experience in the use and management of C4I systems in an operational environment, including Audio Visual (AV) Systems, Radar Systems, Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) Systems, Link-16, Voice Communication Systems (VCS); and IT hardware set-up and infrastructure support for DoD/military programs.</li><li>
A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in an appropriate technical discipline is preferred, along with five (5) years or more experience; Associate degree, job experience and relevant industry certifications may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.</li><li>

Services include electrical inspection and repairs of LIFE / HEALTH / SAFETY (LHS) deficiencies, fire prevention assessment and training, storage management of Government Property / Contractor Acquired Property (GP/CAP), construction and operations related inspections and assessments.  Position Responsibilities
 
 
 
 As a Journeyman Electrician supporting Task Force SAFE, the candidate shall provide electrical inspection, repair, installation, maintenance, and construction expertise. The candidate shall perform electrical system assessments on facilities throughout the CENTCOM AOR including several thousand hardstand buildings and several thousand semi-permanent and temporary facilities and hundreds of facilities under construction.
 
 
 The candidate will identify electrical installations that do not comply with required codes and could contribute to deaths, injuries, fires and/or other electrical hazards. Although not limited in scope, the focus of the investigations shall be on ground fault circuit protection, building ground systems, and equipment bonding deficiencies. Re-inspection of corrected deficiencies may be required. Minor disassembly/reassembly of electrical components will be required (e.g. electrical panel board covers, switchboard front and rear covers, ground connections, etc.), and in selected instances where there are life threatening situations, the candidate will be required to assist with immediate repairs.
 
 
 
 Electrical Inspection And Repair Services Shall Encompass

 Inspect all work and living area facilities that are currently in use throughout CENTCOM AOR for electrical life, health and safety violations in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), and for British Standard 7671 whichever is appropriate.

 The candidate will be part of a two-member team comprised of one master electrician and one journeyman electrician or a team comprised of two master electricians. The master electrician will serve as the team leader responsible for all team activities.

 The candidate must hold a valid Journeyman electrician's state license in the US. The Journeyman Electrician license must be from a state or municipality that requires a test as part of the licensing process.

 Minimum Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable).
 </li>
 <li>
 Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of ten (10) years of experience supporting installation, repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance of satellite communications electronic systems or equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 At least ten (10) years of experience operating and maintaining tactical satellite systems, including antenna controllers, SSPA, LNA/LNB, up/down converters, fiber optic/coax/Ethernet cables, FDMA and TDMA modems, and modem hub operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven expertise with commercial and military satellite TDMA/FDMA modems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Required certifications: Network+ and Security+.
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to travel to support mission up to 75%.

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred, OR an Associates degree plus 12 total years of recent specialized experience, OR a certification plus 15 total years of recent specialized experience, OR 20 total years of recent specialized experience.
