The Role:
This role is designed to be a trainee position for an Account Executive role. The Associate AE role will require that the Account Manager I duties have been satisfactorily performed.
The main responsibility of an Associate AE is to support existing Senior AE&rsquo;s already in market. This person will actively call on existing Approved Accounts to help develop new business in addition to calling on Prospects assigned to Sr AEs in market to get those accounts approved.
In addition to the Account Manger responsibilities, AE training will also be implemented during the Junior AE&rsquo;s tenure with eventual succession into the Account Executive role (upon management discretion).
Identifying and understanding the Client&rsquo;s issue and needs in order to quickly escalate them over to the appropriate team to finalize the solution for the Client.
Answering all inbound phone calls, e-mails, and chats that come into the Wholesale Sales Support team with a great attitude every time, ensuring our clients are left with a timely and memorable experience.
Responsible for identifying and escalating each Client issue within the prescribed timeframe from when you receive it
Clarifying the Client&rsquo;s issue and tracking appropriately within our in-house systems.
Simplifying Client issues and providing feedback to the appropriate team leaders affected by the issue at hand, in order to improve our client service and processes.
Requirements:

Achieve or exceed an assigned annual new sales quota of $360K by the end of 2026.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with at least 3x ACV coverage through consistent outbound prospecting and qualification.
Conduct a minimum of 10 customer meetings or calls per week, documenting notes and next steps in CRM within 24 hours.
Add at least 25 qualified opportunities to the pipeline each month, aligned to ideal customer profile criteria.
Deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly articulate value to clinical and education-focused buyers.
Increase demo-to-close conversion rates and improve demo attendance through proactive follow-up and preparation.
Partner with Marketing and internal teams to optimize outreach, scheduling, and lead conversion.

Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
Experience in a BDR, junior Account Executive, or similar sales role
Proven ability to prospect, manage pipeline, and close new business
Experience working in a small business or startup environment
Comfort using CRM tools (Salesforce and Gong preferred) to manage activity and forecast

Compensation
A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $60,000 &ndash; $65,000 USD base + bonus/commission.
