The Opportunity
We are looking for a Junior BIM Coordinator passionate engineers or architects who are eager to develop themselves in BIM, for our Istanbul Office BIM team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our office's BIM strategy and protocols, participate in coordination and review processes in various projects, and develop yourself in this area.
As a Junior BIM Coordinator at Arup, you will:<ul><li>
Assist in the implementation of BIM processes according to the needs of the projects,</li><li>
Contribute developing BIM documents according to project's BIM scope such as BIM Execution Plans (BEP),</li><li>
Assist and execute CDE management in projects,</li><li>
Support designers and BIM professionals in developing and coordinating BIM models,</li><li>
Review and report on model performance and quality,</li><li>
Assist in managing project-wide, federation models,</li><li>
Assist in managing Virtual Design Review (VDR) meetings,</li><li>
Assist in managing coordination and clash review processes. 
Your role in office BIM processes:</li><li>
Contribute developing our BIM strategies, protocols, and information workflows,</li><li>
Ensure compliance with modeling conventions and company best practices,</li><li>
Promoting Revit and the global Revit standard usage.</li></ul>

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior BIM Coordinator (Civil 3D Specialist) to join our team! In this role you will get the key responsibility to support our Project Delivery Design Teams to execute the day-to-day development, establishment and implementation of BIM in our main office in Abu Dhabi.
 
 
What You'll Be Doing 
 
 
<ul><li>Support the Project Delivery Design Team(s) in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
</li><li>Measure and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions in accordance with Project standards and requirements.
</li><li>Provide progress and performance updates on fortnightly and monthly basis.
</li><li>Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
</li><li>Develop and maintain BIM Civil 3D libraries, continually advancing the platforms&rsquo; efficiency and utilization
</li><li>Support the deployment (hardware and software items) and provide hands-on BIM software training for Project team members.
</li><li>Supervise the BIM modelers, collaborate and coordinate with the Design Team design-changes and model challenges.
</li><li>Develop and extract 2D geometry from the models for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
</li>Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.

<ul><li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited institution.
</li><li>Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience of BIM design production experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably wet and dry utilities projects.
</li><li>Experience in consultant and infrastructure projects preferred.
</li><li>In-depth working knowledge of current Autodesk products such as but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ACC and Revit.
</li><li>Proficient in a range of BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration applications and/or platforms e.g. Civil 3D, Open Buildings Designer, Dynamo, Revit, Grasshopper, Navisworks.

 Knowledge / Experience (Skills) Required
