Job Description:</b></p><p>
Parsons is now hiring a <b>Senior Project Manager</b> to join our <b>Sandy Springs</b> office to support major regional transportation infrastructure projects!</p><p></p><p><b>
What You'll Be Doing:</b></p><ul><li>
Act as a company representative with the client and subcontractors during project execution, leading external and internal meetings and discussions.</li><li>
Work with discipline leads and project engineers to develop, negotiate and monitor scope, schedule and budgets on relevant DOT projects.</li><li>
Mobilizes company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.</li><li>
Oversee and review technical project deliverables, including ensuring that all applicable technical standards are followed and monitoring productivity and progress.</li><li>
Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Project Management Information System (PMIS), Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.</li><li>
Ability to manage interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories.</li><li>
Assign tasks and responsibilities to the project team after careful assessment of project requirements and team qualifications and strengths.</li><li>
Ultimately responsible for execution of project tasks and deliverables.</li><li>
Act as a mentor to junior staff and enhance the current high-performance culture.</li><li>
Ensure all quality processes and requirements are continuously followed.</li><li>
Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.</li><li>
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
What Required Skills You'll Bring:</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related technical field)</li><li>
15+ years of related engineering management experience in the transportation industry, preferably in Georgia</li><li>
Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards.</li><li>
Must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements.</li><li>
Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications</li><li>
Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.</li><li>
Delivery experience with Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) projects is preferred.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
