Join a supportive Advanced Practice Team in a role supporting the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. This practice specializes in the care of patients with multiple myeloma as well as patients requiring specific procedures in our procedure clinic. These teams have a demonstrated history of providing exquisite, evidence-based patient care. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to work in this invigorating and collaborative environment.

This APP will deliver direct care to outpatients with two days of the work week dedicated to working directly with the multiple myeloma team and two days dedicated to working in the procedure clinic. With an interdisciplinary team approach, this provider will promote a collaborative relationship between providers, professional nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure continuity of patient care in the management of their disease and related issues as well as to develop expertise in the field.

Within this role, the advanced practice provider will be responsible for a panel of patients.

Other responsibilities include:<br>
<ul><li>Caring for patients throughout their continuum of care and fostering collaboration with other providers within the hospital and clinics to facilitate patient care.
</li><li>The APP develops, implements, and evaluates a plan of specialized health care for this oncology patient population throughout the care continuum.
</li><li>Promotes a professional and collaborative relationship and effort between the advanced practice team, medical staff, professional nursing staff, and administrative staff.
</li><li>Strives to provide and to ensure continuity of care for patients, while being efficient in use of resources.
</li><li>Is willing to obtain procedural proficiency for oncologic specific procedures including bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, Ommaya reservoir taps, and skin biopsies, amongst others. Training will be provided.</li><li>Indications and interpretation of radiology, pathology, and laboratory results.</li><li>Understands the complex medical environments of cancer patients including, but not limited to, those with advanced malignancy or organ dysfunction.</li><li>Serves as a role model for professional advance practice and participates in the professional development of the team through teaching, committee involvement or quality and safety initiatives to name a few.
</li><li>In addition to clinical skills, this person should possess strong leadership and communication skills and be able to work effectively with other members of the team.

The Behavioral Health (BH) Clinician will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team within our RISE (Reentry Initiatives for Support and Empowerment) program working with homeless, incarcerated individuals in Suffolk County. BHCHP has partnered with the Suffolk County Sheriff&rsquo;s Department (SCSD) at two county jails to outreach to this population. This program aims to engage this population prior to release, to connect with external Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) partners to improve transitions of care for these individuals upon release, and ultimately to improve outcomes related to drug use in this population who are at a particularly high-risk of fatal overdose upon release. This support occurs prior to release, on the day of release, and in the post-release period.<br>
<br>
The purpose of this position is to provide ongoing assessment, intakes, evaluations, and support services to a panel of patients eligible for RISE team services within BHCHP. This clinician will also provide group and/or individual therapy directly inside the correctional facilities and remotely as needed. Currently, this position facilitates two groups per week inside the correctional facility and manages all documentation and administrative components of those groups. The clinician will provide expertise to providers and others regarding the treatment plan in conjunction with the medical needs of these patients. This clinician will also collaborate with team members and the patient in making outside referrals.<br>

This position sits at our 33 Bradston Street location and will also provide services at our main clinic located at 780 Albany Street and both correctional facilities as needed. The ability to work across several sites is necessary for this role. Applicants proficient in both English and Spanish are encouraged to apply.<br>

<div><p>The Payroll Analyst is a key member of the Payroll team at Boston University. Reporting to the Associate Director of Payroll Tax and Reporting, they will assist with the remittances (including but are not limited to federal, state, and local withholding taxes and union dues deductions), reconciliation, and reporting of all payroll withholdings. This role will work with the Associate Director to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations while supporting payroll operations and responding to tax-related inquiries.</p><br>

Major duties of this position include:</p>

<li>Collaborate with Information Technology to implement and test system updates as they relate to taxation and serve as an active member of the yearend W2 process.</li>
<li>Assist with the creation and generation of reports as they relate to union dues deductions, wages, and other ad hoc topics.</li>
<li>Serve as a back- up to the Sr Payroll Tax Administrator in the evaluation of tax status of the foreign national employees.</li></ul><br>
