Preschool / Pre-K Teacher &ndash; Painesville Christian AcademyPainesville Christian Academy is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Preschool/Pre-K Teacher to join our growing team! We are looking for someone passionate about early childhood education who can create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment while supporting children academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment</li><li>Support children in daily routines, social development, and positive behavior guidance</li><li>Communicate professionally with families regarding child progress and classroom updates</li><li>Follow all Ohio childcare licensing and Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) requirements</li><li>Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers</li><li>Conduct classroom assessments and developmental observations as required</li><li>Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, rest time, and transitions</li><li>Encourage creativity, learning, and kindergarten readiness through hands-on activities</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience working with preschool or pre-k children preferred</li><li>CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related experience preferred</li><li>Ability to pass background checks and meet Ohio licensing requirements</li><li>Strong communication and classroom management skills</li><li>Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Supportive, family-oriented work environment</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and training</li><li>Flexible and collaborative team atmosphere</li><li>Meaningful work impacting children and families daily</li><li>Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available</li></ul>If you love working with children and want to make a positive difference in a faith-based early learning environment, we would love to hear from you!Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
