<p><b>Job Summary:</b></p><p>The Instructor is responsible for utilizing the established program curricula to facilitate engaging lessons and hands-on training to adult learners in their skilled trade. This role ensures that students are prepared for both written exams and practical skills/competency tests to obtain relevant certifications, where applicable, and are prepared for entry level employment in their field of training. The ideal candidate will bring expertise and trade skills in their career field and contribute to the overall success of MTI/DTC students. This role is essential to the success of students both in the classroom and their future careers and will require a high level of organization and planning, attention to detail, public speaking and facilitation skills, time management, relationship building, and empathy.</p><p>Hours: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM / Monday-Thursday with an occasional Friday (28 hrs week)</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p>1. Teach and Train</p><p>a. Create lesson plans per the established program curricula.</p><p>b. Be prepared for class by making copies, preparing lab supplies and materials, and having visual aids/videos/images readily available.</p><p>c. Participate in weekly SOS (Save Our Students) meetings to discuss any students of concern with programmatic and campus leadership.</p><p>e.
