Los Alamos National Laboratory's (LANL's) Oﬃce of General Counsel is seeking a paralegal to provide professional support to attorneys and staff in its General Law Group. The General Law Group works on a variety of legal issues including in the areas of environmental law, employment law, litigation, and export control. The primary responsibility for this position will be to support attorneys in all aspects of case and matter management.
 
 
Paralegal 2 ($80,400 - $127,900)
 
Responsibilities of the position include:
 
Perform factual investigations; conduct legal research; draft basic legal documents including memoranda and motions; propound and respond to written discovery; prepare for depositions motion hearings and trial; review and analyze documents. Perform witness and custodian interviews, and collect, compile and analyze documents, electronic data and facts. Manage eDiscovery for complex cases (e.g., identifying, preserving, and culling data) and maintain electronic matter management systems and files. Utilize current technologies and software programs with proficiency, as well as ECF filing procedures in federal and state (NM) court.
