The Robotics Student Success Coordinator for the Automated Robotics Engineering Technology (ARET) program plays a critical role in student success. Perform analytical testing for in-process and finished product for vitamin analysis by</li></ul>
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, protein analysis by Kjeltec, mineral analysis by ICP-OES, fat by Mojonnier extraction technique, total solids determination, Iodide, chloride testing, choline determination, physical stability, and fatty acid profiles by Gas Chromatography.<ul><li>
Conduct ingredient analysis including titrations, moisture testing, organoleptic testing, sediment testing, and peroxide.</li><li>
Perform ELISA and Romer allergen testing as required by plant sanitation and cleaning procedures.</li><li>
Conducts control sample analysis to determine validity of concurrent testing per method, water testing of minerals and volatile organic contaminants, Clean in place (CIP) Residual testing, testing of compressed gases for moisture and hydrocarbons, daily flavor and aroma of oils and weekly peroxide testing of oils, and completes any associated documentation and housekeeping responsibilities.</li><li>
Assist in compliance measures such as Laboratory Investigation Reports and assist FLLs in Non-conformance and RCA investigations.</li><li>

Knowledge of analytical lab instrumentation HPLC, GC, ICP, general titration methods, pH testing</li><li>

<div><ul><li>Engage students in a fun and positive manner</li><li>Assists with administrative preparation of camps</li><li>Organize student information and maintain accurate records for each camp session</li><li>Track dietary restrictions and allergies to ensure safety</li><li>Keep inventory of materials and supplies and clearly communicate the need for additional purchases</li><li>Model professionalism and accountability by adhering to the dress code and college policies</li><li>Responsibility and supervision of students during drop-off, pick-up, and classroom/camp time</li><li>Willing and able to multi-task, be timely, and resolve conflicts as they arise</li><li>At ease with communicating with students, parents/caregivers, and faculty/staff in a professional manner</li><li>Required to complete the college&rsquo;s ongoing compliance training in a timely manner</li><li>Report any notable concerns or incidents to the Assistant Director or Executive Director respectively.</li><li>Additional duties as assigned</li></ul></div>
<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications</h2></div>
<div><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required; must be 18 years of age or older</li><li>Strong organization, planning and communication skills</li><li>Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Ability and willingness to be committed to working scheduled camps</li><li>Dependable, approachable, patient, and sensitive to the needs of a diverse group of students</li><li>Ability to travel to Central Piedmont campuses with reliable transportation</li><li>Must be willing to conduct a background check</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience working with youth and families from diverse and cultural backgrounds either in a similar or related capacity</li><li>CPR/Basic First Aid certification a plus</li></ul></div>

Working Conditions:
Typical office/classroom/camp environment; frequently lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs.; frequently twisting or bending at the waist or reaching overhead; potential traveling between buildings on campus or to other campuses; infrequently sitting at a desk or workstation using a computer display, keyboard, mouse and telephone.</div></div></div>
