Position Summary
Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of laboratory specimens, supplies, reports, and related materials between client locations, physician offices, outreach accounts, hospitals, and the laboratory. The Laboratory Driver must maintain specimen integrity, follow all safety and confidentiality requirements, and provide excellent customer service to clients and patients. This position requires professionalism, reliability, and adherence to all laboratory, HIPAA, and transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
1. Pick up laboratory specimens from physician offices, clinics, hospitals, and outreach accounts according to established schedules.
2. Deliver specimens, laboratory supplies, reports, and other materials safely and efficiently.
3. Maintain proper specimen handling, storage, and transportation conditions to ensure specimen integrity.
4. Complete all required logs, manifests, chain-of-custody forms, and transportation documentation accurately.

 The Outreach Coordinator is a key role within the Pan Human Biobank, combining participant engagement with hands‑on responsibility for the lifecycle management of biological specimens. The position supports ethical, compliant, and culturally appropriate recruitment of participants while ensuring the accurate receipt, processing, storage, and tracking of biological samples in accordance with biobank standards.
 
 
 Working closely with hospital pre‑processing areas, laboratory reception, logistics, Quality, and clinical teams, the Outreach Coordinator upholds the highest standards of biosafety, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. Through strong collaboration and attention to detail, the role directly contributes to the biobank&rsquo;s mission of enabling high‑quality biomedical research.
 
 
 The position may also support specialized biobanking programs, including cord blood and maternal or neonatal collections, where applicable.
