Experience &amp; Education:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li><li>
Prior experience working in housekeeping/laundry in a skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility preferred.</li></ul>
Duties:<ul><li>
Maintain laundry in an efficient, clean, orderly, safe and sanitary manner to ensure clean clothing and linen are always available to meet the needs of the residents and facility.</li><li>
All laundry must be done according to sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control and universal precautions.</li><li>
Follow washing instructions on each article of clothing/linen to ensure maximum care and cleanliness.</li><li>
Label unmarked clothes.</li><li>
Restock linens and return residents&rsquo; articles of clothing to their rooms.</li></ul>

Key Responsibilities</div><ul><li>
Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees. This includes resident rooms &amp; bathrooms, common areas, offices and employee areas.</li><li>
Perform daily cleaning assignments, deep cleaning assignments for move-ins &amp; move-outs, as well as isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures.</li><li>
Ensure that work &amp; assigned areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times, as well as before leaving such areas for breaks, mealtimes, and the end of the workday.</li><li>
If performing laundry tasks, this will include but not be limited to washing &amp; drying resident laundry and linen, delivering and putting away all laundered items, proper usage, storage and maintenance of all equipment, and labeling resident laundry.</li></ul><div>
