As a Laundry Staff/Housekeeping, you play a vital role in our community.</p>

You will collect soiled laundry, lines and garments. Wash and dry laundry per instruction. Separate, fold and /or hang garments and deliver to respective areas. You take great care to enhance safety and sanitary conditions. You live up to the trust of those in your care by complying with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations, maintaining knowledge of and following all company policies and procedures. Reports to and is supervised by the Laundry Supervisor and Director of Housekeeping and Laundry.</li></ul><p><b>
Laundry Worker: Duties and Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Ensures that linen is properly separated into different classifications.</li><li>
Uses proper personal protective equipment when caring for soiled laundry.</li><li>
Folds and processes clean linen and terry and separates</li></ul><p><b>
Typical Physical Demands</b></p><ul><li>
Ability to stand for long periods of time.</li><li>
Ability to lift approximately 30 lbs. of linen.</li><li>
Ability to walk extensively, to squat, bend, kneel, climb to reach 8 ft. ceilings, and reach above shoulders.</li><li>
Needs sense of sight, hearing, smell and touch.</li><li>
Ability to work safely with potentially hazardous chemical and tolerate the presence of dust.</li><li>
Must be able to successfully complete the WorkSTEPS Functional Testing program. This program assists in determining whether applicants/employees are able to safely perform essential job functions.
