Job Description 
MAIN DUTIES: 
Administration<ul><li>
Go through log book for follow up</li><li>
Periodical check up linen chart and pantry to ensure all housework are completed within the same day.</li><li>
Ensure all linen/rewash linen have been returned promptly.</li><li>
Check if any preventive maintenance.</li><li>
Keep records of daily housework, production record.</li><li>
Rotate employees to different job whenever it is considered necessary.</li><li>
Ensure that there is ample stock of chemicals and all other items required for teh department.</li><li>
Keep records on attendance of all laundry staff to prepare duty rosters.</li></ul>

Training and Human Resources

Maintenance and Equipment<ul><li>
Know how to operate all of the equipment and trains staff in safe and proper handling.</li><li>
Keep informing engineering department of checking and repairing malfunction machinery</li><li>
Assist in the schedule of preventive maintenance program.</li></ul> 
Miscellaneous<ul><li>
To supervise the Laundry operations ensuring that the hotel standards and procedures are fully known and followed.</li><li>
To supervise outsourced laundry services, for quality and standard procedures to ensure a proper storage of the chemicals, respecting the environmental procedures.</li><li>
To ensure laundry staff has a full knowledge of all the textiles and their proper care.</li><li>
To constantly check the linen, uniform for cleanliness and defects and to recommend replacement if necessary.</li><li>
To ensure work areas and stores are always in a good state of maintenance and that fire hazards and safety hazards are removed.</li><li>
All ambassadors are required to comply with every reasonable request from their hierarchical supervisor(s) within an amount of time that it takes to comply under normal circumstances.</li><li>
All ambassadors may be assigned to other duties in the hotel as and when required by business levels.</li></ul>

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

To execute the position of Laundry Supervisor, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

<li>High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years&rsquo; experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.</li>
<li>Technical skills include advanced MS Office &ndash; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS and PMS platforms. I have good knowledge of laundry operations and linen handling.
</li><li>Fluent in English.</li>
