Float team staff will collaborate with various IDT members both internal and external of the organization. Clinical services will be scheduled in a timely fashion according to the patient&rsquo;s plan of care, observing patient&rsquo;s continuity of care to achieve the desired outcome of comfortable and peaceful death for patients. When in the field, staff will provide excellent clinical care to all Ohio&rsquo;s Hospice patients that meet the needs of our patients/families, Ohio&rsquo;s Hospice standards, Medicare Conditions of Participation and achieve the desired outcome of comfortable and peaceful death for our patients.

Position Summary
The staff nurse assumes those duties assigned in accordance with CHP, OCFS, and ORR policies and procedures, including but not limited to processing Treatment Authorization Requests through ORR&rsquo;s medical insurance provider, maintaining community relationships with medical providers, maintenance of records, arranging and securing medical care for children, disease reporting requirements for care providers, immunizations for children, monitoring children's health needs, executing physicians orders, assisting children in preventive health care and personal hygiene, caring for sick children, and assessing medical needs.
