Job Summary

The Learning &amp; Development Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving learning strategies that support organizational goals, employee development, and performance outcomes. This role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to assess learning needs, develop scalable programs, and ensure employees have the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to succeed at every stage of their career. 


The L&amp;D Manager oversees the learning ecosystem&mdash;including onboarding, leadership development, technical training, compliance education, and career development initiatives&mdash;while leveraging data and feedback to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. This role plays a critical part in strengthening culture, improving engagement and retention, and building leadership capability across the organization. 


Role and Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and analyze data to define performance, skill and knowledge gaps, and recommend learning and development to drive individual and company-wide capability and performance improvement.</li><li>
Partner with the People team to recommend and develop employee engagement programs and activities that enhance employment experience.</li><li>
Design and develop programs and curriculum, partner with departmental leaders, internal subject matter experts, and/or external vendors to achieve defined learning, learning and development objectives.</li><li>
Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for learning and development interventions and development programs.</li><li>
Establish and maintain individual and organizational performance evaluation methods for learning content, delivery, activities, engagement and outcomes.</li><li>
Utilize metrics to validate knowledge transfer and return on investment.</li><li>

<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Learning or Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development.</li><li>
Minimum 8+ years of work experience in Learning and Development field.</li><li>
Strong strategic thinking skills including the ability to impart or exchange information as a means of connecting people or places for the enhancement of business outcomes.</li><li>
Capable of changing coaching and leadership approaches to meet the needs of diverse groups of stakeholders.</li><li>
Must be comfortable in leading rapid and substantial change, conflict management, and ambiguity.</li><li>
Previous experience implementing an LMS across multiple functions within an organization.</li><li>
Experience in creating learning programs with on-site, hybrid, and remote employees.</li><li>

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000 per year. This good faith estimate is based upon RowCal's typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each employee's qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
