A day in the life 
As a Sr. Learning Experience Designer, you'll design learning programs impacting teams across our global hiring operations. Your day might start with project kick-offs, collaborating with stakeholders to define learning objectives. You could work with subject matter experts transforming complex information into engaging lesson plans. Afternoons might involve developing e-learning modules, creating multimedia content, or gathering feedback. Tribal News Network (TNN) invites experienced media development experts, trainers, educators, and industry practitioners to design and deliver high-impact online courses for its e-learning platform www.mediaviability.com

We are particularly looking for professionals who combine strong domain expertise with the ability to apply and integrate advanced AI tools both during course development and as teaching content.

What We Are Looking For

We are not only looking for subject matter experts, but for professionals who can:
<ul><li>Transform their expertise into structured, interactive, and learner-centered e-courses for digital media outlets and journalists.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Use advanced and visual AI tools (for example in scripting, video creation, design, research, and automation) as part of both the content and the course production process</li></ul>
<ul><li>Deliver practical, real-world learning experiences with actionable tools, case studies, and workflows</li></ul>
<ul><li>Support learners through mentorship and guided learning, during and potentially after the course</li></ul>

Priority Course Areas (2026)

TNN plans to develop four core courses in 2026:
<ul><li>Revenue Models and Monetization Strategies for Digital Media Outlets on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Tribal Regions</li></ul>
<ul><li>Viability and Sustainability through AI integration in workflows</li></ul>
<ul><li>Artificial Intelligence in Journalism and Media Production: Focus on Visualization, Audio, Delivery, Dissemination</li></ul>
<ul><li>Interactive Content Formats and Community and Reporting with focus on fact Checking, Access, Participation, Results, Ownership and Trust.</li></ul>

Each selected expert will develop one course within their area of specialization.

Role and Responsibilities

Selected course creators will:
<ul><li>Design and develop a complete, structured e-learning course using engaging formats such as video, audio, case studies, simulations, quizzes, assignments and other options/tools available on a Moodle based platform.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Integrate AI-powered tools and workflows into both course content and production</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure courses are practical, applicable, and tailored to local media realities</li></ul>
<ul><li>Incorporate feedback from TNN and stakeholders (up to three revision rounds)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develop assessment and evaluation mechanisms</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provide mentorship and learner support during course delivery</li></ul>
<ul><li>Optionally contribute to post-course engagement or advanced mentoring tracks</li></ul>

Deliverables
<ul><li>Fully developed and published e-course on the platform</li></ul>
<ul><li>Multimedia learning materials (videos, scripts, presentations, datasets, tools)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Built-in assessments (quizzes, assignments, practical exercises, AI)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Revised and quality versions based on feedback</li></ul>
<ul><li>Active learner engagement and mentorship during course rollout</li></ul>

Target Audience and Language

Courses will primarily serve journalists, media professionals, and media entrepreneurs across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the Newly Merged Tribal Districts.

Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory
<ul><li>Demonstrated expertise in media/journalism trainings/teachings, expertise in digital content, or media business and viability</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proven experience in e-learning or training content development.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong working knowledge of Moodle or similar LMS platforms</li></ul>
<ul><li>Hands-on ability to use advanced AI tools for content creation, design, and production</li></ul>

Highly Desirable
<ul><li>Experience working with local or regional media ecosystems</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging learning experiences</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience in mentoring, coaching, or training professionals</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong storytelling and instructional design skills</li></ul></div>
