DSK Law (de Beaubien, Simmons, Knight, Mantzaris &amp; Neal, LLP), a well-established Florida law firm founded in 1976, is seeking a Part-Time Legal/Administrative Assistant to join our Melbourne office.This is an in-office position working Monday through Thursday, generally from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented individual who enjoys client interaction, administrative work, and supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct new client and prospective client intake.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.</li><li>Schedule and coordinate meetings, closings, signings, depositions, hearings, and other appointments.</li><li>Prepare and organize electronic and physical client files.</li><li>Perform basic fact investigations and obtain public or official records.</li><li>Electronically file, record, and retrieve documents.</li><li>Draft and prepare legal and administrative documents, including deeds, notices, pleadings, correspondence, and discovery.</li><li>Assist attorneys and staff with special projects and administrative support.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of client and firm information.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>Periodic travel may be required.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Legal Secretary, Office Assistant, Receptionist, Client Intake Specialist, or similar role is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.</li><li>Florida Notary Public commission preferred, or willingness to obtain a commission immediately upon hire.</li><li>Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Exceptional organizational, planning, and follow-up abilities.</li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.</li><li>High level of attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Self-starter who can work independently and efficiently.</li><li>Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.</li><li>Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Part-Time</li><li>Monday through Thursday</li><li>Day Shift</li><li>No Weekends</li></ul>Work LocationIn Person &ndash; Melbourne, FloridaDSK Law is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Experience:<ul><li>Microsoft Office: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Melbourne, FL 32901 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
