As a Legal Counsel - Turkey, you will report to our Group Legal PaaS Counsel based in Italy, and you will be the liaison between him, our Turkish entities and the relevant business area organization. In the future, it's possible you'll be asked to cover group responsibilities as well.</div><div><br>

Key Responsibilities</div><br>

<div>Provide support to the Group Legal PaaS Counsel and other departments in connection with group projects, as required</div>
<div>Provide support to the Group Privacy Officer and DPO for privacy matters and cooperate to ensure privacy compliance for the relevant area legal entities</div>
<div>Provide support to M&amp;A Group Legal in case of M&amp;A activities in your relevant area</div>

Also, as part of the Marketing Legal team, the candidate will help define the Netflix brand and shape the future of entertainment. The Marketing Legal team works alongside local Marketing (which includes title marketing, publicity, social media and marketing production), Communications and Marketing Partnerships.
</p><p></p><p>In particular, the candidate will be involved in negotiating production deals for programming either with local production partners, as well as overseeing all aspects of business and legal affairs matters before, during and after production, providing advice on creative concepts, copy and activations; helping navigate rights management by advising on third party IP rights, advising on marketing/advertising laws; drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with deal-making in regulated sectors. The role requires a deep knowledge of the legal intricacies in the Turkish media, technology or telecommunications sector, a facility in creative thinking, good judgment, the ability to collaborate strongly within a team, and the flexibility to quickly pivot within a strategy.
