About the Role

As a reflection of our continued growth in the Middle East region, we are hiring a high performing,

result-oriented Corporate Counsel to join the Salesforce Commercial Legal team in EMEA, to

support sales to customers primarily in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the broader Middle

Key Responsibilities:

 Generally advise on UAE and other Middle East countries&rsquo; laws, regulations and
<br>
procedures, as well as help properly strengthen and orient our contractual, operational and
<br>
business regional offering to meet our targets and embrace the contemplated business
<br>
growth.
<br>
 Draft, negotiate, and advise on strategic technology service agreements with commercial
<br>
and public sector customers and partners.
<br>
 Provide legal support for local and regional services and initiatives, offering ongoing legal

counsel, regulatory interpretation, and guidance for executives and other business and legal
<br>
team members on a variety of matters related to the sale of cloud-based, on-prem and
<br>
professional services.

 Closely cooperate with other departments, including privacy, government affairs, security

and compliance to ensure agreements are consistent with internal policies and processes.

 Provide legal and commercial advice in relation to existing contracts and provide support in
<br>
the event of any disputes or potential disputes.

 Provide support in answering public market surveys, RFIs/RFPs, including collecting

relevant information internally.

 Assist in developing training materials and provide training to the business on relevant
<br>
legal topics and best practices.

 Actively contribute to the EMEA Commercial Legal team&rsquo;s ongoing development of

knowledge, skills and processes.

Preferred Qualifications
<br>
 Master Degree from a highly regarded university; LLM or additional abroad studies in an
<br>
English-speaking country are a plus.
<br>
 Qualified Lawyer within a major jurisdiction and/or UAE is a plus.
<br>
 Substantial experience and knowledge of UAE law and major common law jurisdictions
<br>
relating to commercial and technology contracting.
<br>
 Minimum 5-year PQE in a reputable law firm or as in-house commercial counsel in a large
<br>
organization operating in the Middle East and supporting IT contracts&rsquo; negotiation,
<br>
including public procurements activities.
<br>
Required skills &amp; experience:
<br>
 Fluent in English and Arabic.
<br>
 Experience in cloud computing is a must. Previous exposure to public procurement would
<br>
be an advantage.

 Substantive expertise in AI, data privacy and intellectual property laws. US revenue

recognition knowledge would be a plus.

</li><li><p>Minimum <b>3 years of relevant experience</b> in libraries, information management, publishing, periodicals, knowledge resources, or publisher relations.</p>
</li><li><p>Proven experience working directly with publishers, cultural institutions, libraries, or knowledge organizations.</p>
</li><li><p>Good knowledge of periodicals, publishing, <b>ISSN</b>, and legal deposit concepts and procedures.</p>
</li><li><p>Familiarity with bibliographic databases, records management, and data maintenance.</p>
</li><li><p>Strong communication, relationship-building, follow-up, negotiation, and persuasion skills.</p>
</li><li><p>Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple publishers, applications, and follow-ups simultaneously.</p>

<p><b>Role Overview</b></p><p>The PRO is responsible for managing all government relations, immigration processes, and regulatory compliance requirements for the company. The role also supports HR operations, legal coordination, and company documentation to ensure full compliance with UAE laws and seamless employee lifecycle management.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><b>Human Resources (60%) - Government Relations &amp; HR Operations</b></p><ul><li>Manage end-to-end government relations and immigration processes for employees</li><li>Apply for and monitor visa quotas in line with business requirements</li><li>Process MOHRE transactions, including Work permit applications and cancellations, Insurance pool management on MOHRE portal</li><li>Handle GDRFA &amp; DMCC transactions, including e-Visa applications, Change of status, Visa cancellations</li><li>Typing &amp; processing visa medicals, visa stamping, and Emirates ID processes, including Typing of applications, Biometrics scheduling for new registrations</li><li>Liaise with MOHRE, GDRFA, Tasheel, Amer Centre and ICP for resolving visa and immigration-related matters</li><li>Monitor and track visa and work permit expiries and renewals to ensure timely action</li><li>Register and follow up on MOHRE complaints, where required</li><li>Manage GPSSA registration and de-registration processes for UAE National employees in compliance with regulatory requirements</li><li>Handle absconding cases and other ad hoc immigration-related matters in coordination with relevant government authorities</li><li>Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and all applicable immigration regulations</li><li>Monitor and ensure all applications and processes are completed within stipulated timelines to avoid fines or penalties</li><li>Maintain adequate balances across all relevant government portals and liaise with the Finance team for timely fund transfers</li><li>Submit petty cash claims with all supporting documentation and receipts to the Finance team in line with internal policies</li></ul><p><b>Legal (30%)</b></p><ul><li>Liaise with external legal consultants on contracts, disputes, and compliance matters</li><li>Support in monitoring regulatory changes and ensure company adherence to UAE laws</li><li>Assist in handling labour-related cases, documentation, and coordination with relevant authorities</li><li>Maintain proper documentation and records for all legal and compliance matters</li><li>Ensure timely renewal of all compliance-related registrations, approvals, and licenses</li></ul><p><b>Company Documentation &amp; Administration (COO Office Support)</b></p><ul><li>Manage and track renewals of IEX &amp; Immersive Experience trade license, including DMCC, permits, and company registrations</li><li>Coordinate utilities and government-linked services, including: DEWA, Ejari , Tenancy contracts, DMCC office lease renewal</li><li>Handle DM permits, seek approvals from CBI- in relation to the activity</li><li>Maintain a centralized tracker for all company documents, ensuring timely renewals and compliance</li><li>Support administrative coordination related to regulatory and operational requirements</li></ul><p>Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>
