 Under limited supervision, serves as the manager of a specific division or area and is responsible for planning, leading, managing, and evaluating library operations and staff. Ensures that all services are in alignment with the library's strategic goals and are implemented effectively. Responsible for supervising, training, and evaluating subordinate staff, establishing standards for services and collections, monitoring the budget, researching and formulating long range goals, developing policies, and planning and evaluating programs, services, and goals. The Macdonald-Kelce Library at The University of Tampa has a position available for a Part-Time Library Technical Assistant. This front-line position assists patrons in the use of the library and its resources during weekend hours. Primary responsibilities include the check-out and check-in of circulating items, supervision of student assistants, the answering of phones and greeting visitors, performing inventory, and carrying out opening and closing duties.</div><div></div><div>
The library technical assistant also assumes responsibility of the building when a supervisor is not on duty. This position reports to the Circulation Manager.</div><div></div><div>
Essential Functions 
1. Provide outstanding customer service with all library patrons.</div><div>

3. Supervise and train student assistants.
