The <b>Adult Services Librarian</b> provides reference and Readers&rsquo; Advisory services and technology assistance to Library customers and leads paraprofessional staff in managing collections and providing programs. Assists Library customers in the use of digital and print resources, and promotes Library resources, programs, and services.</p><br>

<li>Provides leadership, training and guidance to staff and the public in the area of Adult &amp; Teen Services.</li>
<li>Stays current with adult and teen literature, relevant technology, and library trends.
</li><li>Provides reference and Reader&rsquo;s Advisory assistance for users, including topical research and material location.</li>
<li>Works with Collection Services to manage the adult collection.
</li><li>May periodically serve as Person In Charge (PIC), providing support for employees, customers, and facility issues.
</li><li>Performs special projects involving Library promotion and outreach activities in areas of expertise. Conducts Library tours.</li>
<li>Coordinates and/or conducts the proctoring of exams for public.
</li><li>Develops, implements, and staffs programs for adults.</li>
<li>Prepares reports and statistics for review as requested.</li>
<li>Troubleshoots and resolves minor computer hardware and software problems.

Job Summary</b></h2>

<div><div><p>The Associate Director of Collection and Resource Services provides strategic vision and expertise in the management, organization, and lifecycle of Georgia College's electronic and print resource collections. The Associate Director oversees continuing resources management, including identifying and resolving complex issues related to electronic serials, databases, and subscriptions.<br>

The Associate Director manages licensing matters with comprehensive knowledge of how and for whom the organization licenses content, as well as the concepts, implications, and contract language pertaining to archival rights, perpetual access, and interlibrary loan. The Associate Director maintains current high-level working knowledge of print and electronic resource processing while identifying, evaluating, and staying current with emerging trends, resources, practices, and standards in electronic resource management, usage statistics, data management, access, and discovery to enhance library services.<br>
