Six (6) months of experience providing substance abuse treatment required, preferably in criminal justice or related area.</li><li>
A certified Addictions Specialist (CAS), is required. A Master's degree in a related field and experience providing substance use treatment services may substitute for CAS.</li><li>
Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire is required.</li><li>
Possession of Adult First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications within six (6) months of hire, is required.</li></ul>

This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients&rsquo; lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning</li><li>Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis</li><li>Implement crisis intervention strategies to de-escalate situations and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies</li><li>Facilitate telehealth sessions to expand access to care for clients in various settings while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards</li><li>Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, and gender issues counseling as appropriate</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care</li><li>Maintain detailed medical records and documentation of patient progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards</li><li>Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving behavioral health interventions and patient outcomes</li><li>Provide specialized support for patients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or chronic pain conditions through tailored behavioral management strategies</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field from an accredited institution</li><li>Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential required by state regulations</li><li>Proven experience in clinical counseling with a focus on mental health disorders such as PTSD, addiction issues, grief, or behavioral challenges</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA)</li><li>Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred</li><li>Strong crisis management skills with the ability to handle emergency situations effectively</li><li>Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate documentation and billing purposes</li><li>Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic medical records (EMR) systems ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse populations while maintaining professionalism and empathy</li></ul>Join us in delivering impactful mental health services that empower individuals toward healthier lives.
