</b><div></div><div>Terrific Math Specialist position with an independent school in the Greater Washington, D.C area. The position will serve as a subject matter expert for lower school math and be an instructional coach to students. The Specialist will ensure that students in grades 3 through 6 receive tailored math experiences that range from support with math foundations to high-level enrichment.</div><div>
</div><div><b>Responsibilities:
</b></div><ul><li>Provide math remediation and enrichment to students in grades 3-6
</li><li>Work with teachers to provide support on math subject and demonstrations
</li><li>Support students through small intervention groups and tutoring coordination
</li><li>Collaborate with lower school and math leadership to support strategies that benefit students and ensure alignment of math across all grades
</li><li>Manage procurement of materials related to math curriculum
</li><li>Lead the design and coordination of summer math camp
</li></ul><div></div><div><b>Qualifications:
</b></div><ul><li>Approximately 3+ years of relevant teaching or math specialist experience
