We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused Lifting Supervisor to oversee all lifting and rigging operations at our project site. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and efficient execution of lifting activities in compliance with Qatar Energy requirements, approved lifting plans, and international safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Supervision of Lifting Operations:<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations onsite.</li><li>Ensure lifting plans and risk assessments are followed.</li><li>Verify competence of crane operators, riggers, and signalmen.</li><li>Conduct toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings.</li></ul>Safety &amp; Compliance:<ul><li>Enforce site HSE requirements and Qatar Energy lifting protocols.</li><li>Stop unsafe lifting activities and initiate corrective actions.</li><li>Support Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes for lifting operations.</li><li>Report incidents and support investigations when required.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Communication:<ul><li>Coordinate with Lifting Engineers, HSE teams, and site engineers.</li><li>Ensure clear communication with the lifting crew (signals/radio).</li><li>Maintain safe exclusion zones and lifting equipment positioning.</li><li>Log daily lifting operations and usage records.</li></ul>Documentation:<ul><li>Ensure all lifting plans, method statements, and checklists are available and up-to-date.</li><li>Maintain inspection and certification records for lifting tools and cranes.</li><li>Assist in preparing lifting-related reports and audits as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (preferred)</li><li>Valid Lifting Supervisor Certificate from a recognized training institute</li><li>5&ndash;7 years experience in lifting operations, including 3&ndash;5 years in Qatar or GCC</li><li>Strong knowledge of rigging, lifting gears, crane types, and safety procedures</li></ul>*Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>How many years of experience do you have supervising lifting and rigging operations?</li><li>Have you previously worked on Qatar Energy or Oil &amp; Gas projects in Qatar or the GCC?</li><li>What is your current and expected salary?
