Responsibilities:

Ensure correct equipment entry onto the equipment rental software, WINHITS, including bar codes.</li><li>
Fulfill the stock control system, liaising with the Service Department and updating service history where appropriate.</li><li>
Ensure that Faulty / Damaged equipment is delivered to the Service Department for prompt repair.</li><li>
Inform the relevant Department In charge of any shortages or issues with equipment / consumables for forthcoming orders.</li><li>
Ensure that all equipment and flight case tour labels are marked up correctly for specific jobs.</li><li>
Prepare and carry out portable appliance testing (PAT Testing) where necessary, ensuring all information is logged.</li><li>
Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of fixtures within the department.</li><li>
Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles in a safe manner as directed by the Operations Director.</li><li>
Ensure the warehouse is always kept tidy and orderly.</li><li>
Assist in the asset entry and barcode of all new equipment received on the equipment rental software system.</li><li>
Assist in the undertaking of stock cycle counts with operational departments when scheduled.</li><li>
Keep up to date with the latest fixtures and technology, undertaking training when necessary to unsure the correct handling of equipment.</li><li>
Always represent the company in a positive and professional manner.</li><li>

Design within project budget and establish VE options with an understanding of cost impact (including general mark-ups, labor costs, etc.) for projects. Coordinate with cost estimators and review detailed cost estimates completed during design and bids during construction.</li><li>
Extensive knowledge/experience in designing lighting control systems including documentation of one line diagrams, details, specification, sequence of operations and integration with other building systems.</li><li>
Oversee lighting design coordination with architects and other disciplines for RCP coordination, design intent, W/SF for mechanical, etc.</li><li>
Lead lighting presentations with clients and project stakeholders in a clear and concise manner</li><li>
Mentor less experienced lighting design staff with lighting design concepts, project design process, technical expertise, etc.</li><li>
Edit all lighting and lighting control specifications</li><li>
Complete QA of other projects/lighting design work within the office</li><li>
Perform in-house and on-site construction administration tasks</li><li>
Review projects and complete minimal documentation utilizing AutoCad and Revit, and create mark-ups for drafting by others</li><li>
