PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Transports hazardous waste, hazardous materials, industrial fluids, and non-hazardous wastes in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.</li><li>

Hazmat Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations. 
 
On a daily basis our drivers:<ul><li>
Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.</li><li>
Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.</li><li>
Pull orders onto the truck for deliveries and offload at the stops</li><li>
Collect payments and accurately document delivery.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).</li><li>
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.</li><li>

The CDL Driver - Hazmat is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations or job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following all DOT regulations.
Our Drivers are essential partners in our success, delivering more than products&mdash;they deliver reliability, trust, and a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) rules and maintain a clean driving record to make sure company vehicles are operated safely and responsibly.</li><li>
Comply with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation of hazardous materials</li><li>
Inspect vehicles before and after trips to help ensure safe and on-time deliveries</li><li>
Load, unload, and organize orders carefully ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.</li><li>
Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations</li><li>
Double-check purchase orders and delivery tickets to confirm routes and inventory, helping reduce errors and improve customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Support job site safety by checking for and reporting any potential hazards, to help prevent accidents and protect people and property.</li><li>
Take photos of all delivered products as required by company policy.</li><li>

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $24.13 to $30.72 per hour.
