Job Description Summary
We have (1) Market Logistics Operations Manager opening in the Coastal Atlantic district. There are two job postings for this position due to posting the the position out of Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA. The selected candidate can be based in either market. This position will entail 30%-40% overnight travel between the Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA market.

Position Objective:
The Manager, Market Logistics Operations is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Logistics Operations Center. This includes managing Dispatchers, Coordinators, Field Technicians, and Drivers as well as the operational and financial reporting on each function.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Logistics Manager plans, organizes and directs the operation specialty hauling operation to meet the needs of the customer, achieve the annual business plan, increase sales to third party customers, and maximize profitability for the Company.

The Logistics Manager provides leadership for daily operations while also driving strategic growth, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the business. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIRED:

The Logistics Manager is accountable to the Vice President, Managing Director of High Transit. Reporting to the Logistics Manager are the Logistics Supervisors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
