 We are looking for a
 
 Logistics Operative
 
 who will be part of our Logistics and Warehousing team - responsible for providing an accurate and prompt receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Undertakes receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with the Standard Operating Procedures and ensures that goods are correctly labeled, bar coded and located within the warehouse.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures that all in-bound and out-bound delivery information is accurately keyed into the company systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Completes necessary documentation upon receipt or delivery of goods in an accurate and prompt manner and update the system accordingly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Checks and inspects goods received and ensure they are of accurate quantity, reference and quality. Promptly report damages, discrepancies or any unresolved issues to the Line Manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 Chooses appropriate packing materials and packs goods in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures the safe and efficient handling, loading, delivery and collection of goods.
 </li>
 <li>
 Optimizes space by ensuring that goods are arranged and stored in designated areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Dispatches outgoing orders in line with company processes so as to achieve agreed turn-round targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with company procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Carries out stock and inventory control and ensures proper maintenance of records of deliveries / collections and transfers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Together with colleagues, ensures the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and is in compliance with company standards at all times.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains high levels of Health and Safety standards and ensure any hazards are promptly reported to the Line Manager.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

 High School or equivalent.

 1-3 years job related experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Literacy &amp; Numeracy aptitude &ndash; Entry Level 2.
