This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational judgment and the ability to step in to support field operations when needed.<br/></p><p>Schedule<br/>Tuesday through Saturday, daytime hours<br/>Flexibility is required to address operational needs outside standard hours as business demands change.<br/>This position includes both in-office and on-the-road responsibilities.<br/></p><p>Responsibilities<br/></p><p>Manage and assign weekly schedules for Air Couriers, Day Ground Couriers, and Lead Couriers to ensure complete route coverage across multiple sites<br/>Oversee air cargo coordination, including Airway Bills (AWBs), flight bookings, cargo logs, shipment tracking, drop-offs, pickups, and cutoff times<br/>Monitor and proactively manage flight delays, cancellations, reroutes, and specimen handoffs<br/>Ensure proper packaging, documentation, and compliance with transportation standards<br/>Oversee fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, servicing coordination, maintenance tracking, and compliance monitoring<br/>Monitor vehicle tracking systems to ensure fleet safety and operational readiness<br/>Review and approve timecards, time-off requests, expenses, and corrective actions in Paycom<br/>Conduct team check-ins and one-on-one coaching sessions<br/>Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and training of new team members<br/>Partner with Dispatch on route optimization, shipment discrepancies, incident reports, and operational inefficiencies<br/>Collaborate with the Evening Logistics Supervisor on air operations, transport delays, fleet coordination, and quality assurance<br/>Address courier errors, missed or at-risk pickups, and service disruptions with cross-functional partners<br/>Serve as backup for courier and air courier coverage as needed<br/>Support STAT runs, airport runs, and other priority stops as required<br/>Audit logistics reporting, including Dispatch, Courier, Incident, Flagged, Error, and Delay reports, identifying trends and recommending process improvements<br/>Monitor handoff and cutoff times to ensure adherence to service-level standards<br/>Maintain safety, compliance, and professional service standards<br/>Perform additional duties as assigned by Logistics leadership<br/></p><p>Required Qualifications<br/></p><p>Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Lead or Supervisor in transportation, logistics, courier operations, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, freight coordination, or last-mile delivery<br/>Minimum 2+ years of courier or delivery driving experience<br/>Strong understanding of transportation management, route coordination, and time-sensitive delivery operations<br/>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with driving record that meets company insurability requirements<br/>Must meet minimum eligibility requirements for operating company vehicles under insurance guidelines<br/>Ability to use a smartphone for business-related communication and operational coordination<br/>High attention to detail with strong organizational skills<br/>Strong communication and problem-solving abilities<br/>Willingness to provide hands-on operational support in the field when needed<br/>Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation<br/>Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the shift<br/>Comfortable working in office and outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions<br/></p><p>Preferred Qualifications<br/></p><p>Experience coordinating air cargo operations, Airway Bills (AWBs), flight bookings, or shipment tracking highly preferred<br/>Experience with fleet management systems or vehicle compliance tracking<br/>Experience in dispatch, shipping/receiving, warehouse supervision, or freight operations<br/>Experience supporting multi-site transportation operations<br/>Experience auditing operational or logistics reporting<br/>Training, coaching, or team development experience<br/>Experience working in regulated or time-sensitive environments (healthcare, laboratory, freight, or similar)<br/>Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS/timekeeping systems<br/></p><p>Job Type<br/>Full-time, W2 (Salary, Exempt)<br/></p><p>Salary<br/>$52,000 annually<br/></p><p>Ability to Commute/Relocate: Tempe, AZ: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)<br/></p><p>Ideal Start Date<br/>February 23, 2026<br/></p><p>Benefits for Full-Time W2 Team Members<br/>Benefits begin 60 days after the first full month of full-time employment.<br/></p><p>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance<br/>Paid Time Off (21 days annually for full-time team members)<br/>7 Paid Holidays<br/>401(k) with 50% Company Match up to 6%<br/>Health Savings Account (HSA)<br/>Short-Term &amp;
