Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Ensuring HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.

</li><li>Coordinate and supervise the Loss Prevention engineering aspects of the Assiut Hydrocracking Complex Project to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, and schedule.
</li><li>Supervise, oversee and coordinate regular and timely technical reviews of Loss Prevention related Engineering deliverables developed by the Contractor and technology Licensors, ensuring design optimization in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices and in close conjunction with Owner&rsquo;s functional departments.
</li><li>Co-ordinate and interface with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations, and Maintenance functions to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Engineering execution and integrity.
</li><li>Provide technical expertise on all subject matter pertaining to Loss Prevention Engineering during all phases of Project e.g. Engineering, Fabrication, Installation, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning.
</li><li>Responsible for developing and establishing systems, procedures and standards for effective implementation of the Project in line with International Codes and Standards, Owner specifications, local regulations and Owner&rsquo;s HSE policies, philosophies and requirements for Loss Prevention Engineering.
</li><li>Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
</li><li>Reporting to the PMC Engineering Manager and works under his direction.
</li><li>Ensure quality and accuracy of Contractor&rsquo;s Loss Prevention Engineering activities.
</li><li>Review and approve Contractor&rsquo;s work and ensure compliance with Contract obligations, Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, design philosophy, and Industry best practices.
</li><li>Provide PMC Loss Prevention performance data and reports to PMC Management and the Owner.
</li><li>Provide technical guidance to develop new specifications and update existing specifications.
</li><li>Review technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis.
</li><li>Participate in Layout, P&amp;lD, PHASER, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Layout Safety Reviews, PSSR, constructability reviews, 3D Model reviews, safety audits, QRA workshops, etc.
</li><li>Provide Loss Prevention Engineering expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models.
</li><li>Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers.
</li><li>Participate in analysis during Contractor and Vendor pre-qualification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.
</li><li>Ensure quality and accuracy of Contractor&rsquo;s Loss Prevention Engineering activities and review deliverables including philosophies, data sheets, specifications, layouts, close out reports, detailed drawings, etc. pertaining to risk studies, loss prevention systems, firefighting equipment, muster station, TGR&rsquo;s, TSRs, Safety Signage, hazardous areas classifications, etc.
</li><li>Review any Project specific Risk Management Systems and criteria pertaining to Loss Prevention.
</li><li>Manager &amp; review of HSEIAs for Loss Prevention Engineering inputs, including reviewing hazards and effects registers, bow tie diagrams, HSECES register, HSCES performance standards and procedures, etc.
</li><li>Review Emergency Response procedures and plans for Loss Prevention inputs including alignment with Owner specifications and standards etc.
</li><li>Provide assistance and support to Construction, Pre- commissioning and Commissioning phases of the works.
</li><li>Review Action Tracking Registers and ensure close out of all Loss Prevention actions arising out of key reviews, workshops, HSSEQ studies, safety related concerns, etc.
</li><li>Review technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis for Loss Prevention discipline.
</li><li>Provide Loss Prevention Engineering expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models.
</li><li>Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline Engineers

 A day in the life
 
 
 As a SLP Expert, you will join a team of S&amp;LP professionals providing security as a service to business customers across multiple business units within a dedicated geographical area. You perform regular physical security audits and investigate policy violations, security-related incidents, and loss events. During your investigations, you will collect information by monitoring systems and tools, analyzing data reports, and conducting interviews. Your findings contribute to identifying vulnerabilities in various processes to identify and drive mitigating measures. You play a key role in maintaining the physical integrity of our sites by auditing and monitoring the health status of our systems and, jointly with subject matter experts and external suppliers, maintain their functionality. Furthermore, you identify and act upon initiatives improving our physical security infrastructure and contribute directly to the budgetary planning for our external suppliers.  Patrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room access. Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system. Lock property entrances when required. Conduct daily physical hazard inspections. Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required. Assist guests/employees during emergency situations. Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. Defuse guest/employee disturbances. Call for outside assistance if necessary. Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents. Handle all interruptions and complaints. Resolve safety hazard situations. Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation. Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts. Call for assistance using proper code responses. Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report. Maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents; release information only to authorized individuals. Conduct investigations and gather evidence. Conduct interviews with relevant parties.
 
 
 Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests&rsquo; service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
