We are currently hiring an experienced Field Technician for our Installation &amp; Service department. Primary responsibilities of the position include the installation, de-installation, repair and maintenance of mobile surveillance / security equipment at customer locations.</p><p>This position is located onsite at our U.S. headquarters in Richardson, TX. <p>The <b>Senior ELV Engineer </b>is responsible for the end to end engineering, delivery, and lifecycle support of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across the organisation. This includes system design, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, integration, and technical governance of ELV solutions such as CCTV, access control, biometric systems, structured cabling, public address, intercom, and related security and automation technologies.
</p><p><b>In this role you will
</b></p><ul><li>Design system architectures, layouts, Single Line Diagram (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings for biometric, access control, and gate systems.
</li><li>Review and validate shop drawings for compliance with Emirates Group standards, and prepare method statements, test plans, and handover documentation.
</li><li>Deliver on-site installation of structured cabling, access control panels, biometric devices, and gate hardware, ensuring correct termination, labelling, shielding, and testing in line with international and Emirates Group standards.
</li><li>Configure and commission biometric devices and access control controllers, including enrolment, synchronization, I/O mapping, reader setup, door logic, communication protocols, and event reporting to support secure operations and workflows.
</li><li>Install and commission automated speed gates, performing mechanical and electrical alignment, configuration tuning, throughput validation, and integration with fire and disaster systems, resolving site-level faults.
</li><li>Ensure end to end integration across biometric, access control, and gate systems. Lead functional, fail safe/fail secure, redundancy, and performance testing; resolve issues across hardware, software, network, or logic layers; and deliver audit ready documentation and system handover to operations and support teams.
</li></ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualification
</b></h5><p><b>To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:
</b></p><ul><li>A Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent in electrical engineering, electronics, communications engineering, telecom engineering, computer Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
</li><li>Hands-on experience working in ELV / security integration projects, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
</li><li>ELV/Access control system (ACS) /Gate Automation experience is essential.
</li><li>Hands-on experience with low-voltage control wiring (including RS485/Open Supervised Device Control (OSDP), shielding practices, and terminal block terminations.
</li><li>Completion of at least 2 full-cycle projects involving biometric systems, ACS controllers, and gate/speed gate integration.
</li><li>Proven experience coordinating with OEMs, suppliers, and third-party vendors to ensure successful end-to-end system integration.
</li><li>Hands-on experience with Maxxess e-Fusion access control systems.
</li><li>Experience implementing and managing Invixium TITAN biometric devices, including enrollment and synchronization via IXM WEB or similar platforms.
</li><li>Field experience installing and commissioning FAAC speed gates, including control boards and safety devices.
</li><li>Expert in ELV cabling, terminations, crimping, Power Over Ethernet (PoE) power design, surge grounding, and equipment installation.
</li><li>Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD or equivalent), with the ability to prepare, review, and update system drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, shop drawings, and as built documentation in line with project and Emirates Group standards.

The Service Technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of component cable, category cable, fiber, wireless access points, cameras, access control devices, and other low voltage cabling and devices with or without direct onsite supervision.
<br>Essential Functions

<li>Install, Service and Maintain of various access control devices and electrified door hardware</li>
<li>Install, Service and Maintain various cameras</li>
<li>Install, Service and Maintain cable pathway systems to support security and network systems</li>
<li>Maintain company-owned equipment</li>
<li>Work in a team environment with other service team members</li>
<li>Observe all safety rules and best practices</li>
<li>Perform other duties, as required</li>
<li>Shall demonstrate a willingness to learn and work well within a team environment</li>

Minimum Qualifications

<li>Minimum have 1 year of experience in the physical security, IT or electronics field</li>
<li>Experience in configuring access control and surveillance systems</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Hold a valid driver’s license</li>
<li>Be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles</li>
<li>Successfully pass a background check and drug screen</li>
</ul>

Physical Demands
