The ideal candidate will approach day to day work with a world class attitude while interacting with other team members from other departments. 2nd Shift Hours: 3:30PM to 2:00AM, Monday - Thursday, 1:30PM to 12:00AM Sunday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
An Operator is one of the key members of our production team. Daily responsibilities include safely operating roll formers, coil slitters, and flat sheet shears. The finished product is quality metal roofing and wall panels.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):<ul><li>
Checking and visually inspecting produced panels against specifications to ensure a defect free product has been produced</li><li>
Installing panel dies during tooling change and adjusting to panel specifications</li><li>
Entering production quantities for each order into computer system</li><li>
Operating a forklift for positioning coils at un-coiler</li><li>
Operating overhead cranes to load coil stock</li><li>

Scope of Position

What You Will Do
<ul><li>Perform machine setup and runs on surface grinders and mills</li><li>
Read, interpret and comprehend, process prints, engineering and quality standards, and other informational drawings and work instructions.</li><li>
Monitor tooling for wear and usage, changing and setting tools as needed.</li><li>
Monitor part specific dimensional tolerances while performing the operation &amp; identify non-conforming part features</li><li>
Maintain accurate documentation and system inputs (shop traveler, labor charging, production tracking software, inspection results, etc.)</li><li>
Identify and report process inefficiencies, machine issues, and improvement opportunities</li><li>
Follow work priorities to accomplish production goals</li><li>
Can handle contact with coolants, cleaning fluids, and oils (petroleum based products) and chemical vapors from products during the normal manufacturing</li><li>
Obtain and maintain required Inspection Certification(s)</li><li>
