SUMMARY</b></p>
The Rail Car Servicer, under minimal supervision, will perform rail car interior and exterior cleaning to the standards outlined by Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Rail Operations. Cleaning of rail cars includes but is not limited to sweeping and mopping, cleaning walls, windows, seats, stainless steel, cab and passenger areas, and all exterior areas on rail vehicles. It also cleans shop areas, equipment, non-revenue, and emergency support vehicles. The Rail Car Servicer may also be required to provide cleaning support on the mainline and other service areas. The Rail Car Servicer will be needed to service rail cars, which may include changing filters, checking sand and fluid levels, and replenishing the sand, and may be called upon to provide support for other areas regarding light rail service, streetcar, wayside, and public safety and service.<p>

We focus on providing high resident satisfaction and beautiful, well-maintained communities.</p><p>Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Clean the bathrooms, windows and blinds of apartments and common areas. Vacuum, dust, mop floors and polish furniture.</li><li>Survey and clean high touch areas regularly, sanitizing rooms, spa, and surfaces. Take out trash.</li><li>Build a rapport with residents, and respond to their needs.</li><li>Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry.</li><li>Submit work orders to the Maintenance Supervisor as necessary.</li><li>Adhere to safety regulations regarding safe chemical handling, as well as other cleaning procedures to prevent cross-contamination. Responsibilities:

Keep property, management office, landscaping clean by inspecting property each morning and picking up any trash littering the grounds.</li>

Replace lightbulbs in common areas and breezeways as needed.</li><li>
Replace all first-floor window screens upon request.</li>
Assist with apartment make-readies as requested<li>-trash vacant units, caulk, check appliances and smoke detector, replace parts, etc.</li><li>
Clean air conditioning vents and replace filter in all vacant apartments.</li><li>
Install, move and hook up appliances.</li><li>
Replace air filters as scheduled for all occupied apartments.</li>
Clean pool area<li>-hose down area, pick up trash, straighten chairs, etc.</li><li>
Perform light painting duties as directed.</li><li>
Clean vacant apartments between residents.</li><li>

Qualifications:
