Job Purpose:To ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of elevators and escalators through regular maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevators and escalators according to the maintenance schedule.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime.</li><li>Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure equipment is functioning according to manufacturer and safety standards.</li><li>Respond promptly to breakdown calls and carry out immediate repairs.</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance and service reports, ensuring records are updated in the system.</li><li>Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members regarding technical findings or recommendations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, Qatar Civil Defense, and safety regulations.</li><li>Report the need for spare parts or major repair work to the maintenance supervisor.</li><li>Support in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new elevators and escalators when required.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Diploma or ITI in Electrical / Mechanical or related field.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in elevator and escalator maintenance (preferably in GCC countries).</li><li>Hands-on experience with major elevator brands (e.g., KONE, OTIS, Schindler, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, etc.).</li><li>Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, controllers, safety devices, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.</li><li>Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and tools.</li></ul>Preference will be given to locally available technicians and open up for overseas candidates also.Also you can share your CV on WhatsApp through +974 3312 0793Best Regards,HR Department, Comfort Elevators and Escalators.Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month
