The Maintenance Specialist III performs complex (journey-level) work in one or more building maintenance and construction trades. Work involves conducting inspections, adjustments, installations, maintaining and repairing buildings, utility systems, and stationary equipment, dependent on the trade and operating motorized equipment, requisitioning materials and supplies; and maintaining records. Completes paperwork and maintains work order records. Communicates verbally and in writing, possibly using electronic equipment. Works as a team member with other shops and employees. May be required to perform other tasks to include operation of a motor vehicle, making deliveries, picking up supplies, and other incidental tasks. May provide training and guidance to others. <li>1-5 years in Quality and field inspection, quality auditing, and surveillance for construction. Working knowledge of the specific trade of discipline as assigned, with associated special processes, inspection and testing techniques</li>
<li>Working knowledge of construction industry codes relating to area of expertise (i.e. ACI, AWS, ASME, NEC, etc.)</li>
<li>Experience in mechanical and electrical engineered equipment</li>
<li>Associate degree in engineering technology, construction or quality preferred plus 1-5 years&rsquo; experience in a related construction field or a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) plus 5-10 years of experience in a related construction field.</li>
<li>Preferred degree in construction management or engineering.</li>
<li>Knowledge of quality control procedures, tracking and reporting, material/equipment quality review and experience reviewing completed work packages to ensure drawings/specifications and client requirements are met.</li>
<li>Knowledge of equipment operations and maintenance manuals and storage requirements.</li>
<li>Experience with industrial construction is preferred.</li>
