Working under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor this role diagnoses and corrects mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues, performs preventive maintenance, and supports continuous improvement. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</b></p><p></p><p><b><br>
Equipment Maintenance &amp; Troubleshooting</b></p><ul><li>
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production and facility equipment.</li><li>
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.</li><li>
Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, drawings, and maintenance procedures.</li><li>
Troubleshoot motors, drives, pumps, valves, conveyors, furnaces, and auxiliary systems.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Electrical &amp; Controls Support</b></p><ul><li>
Troubleshoot electrical components including motors, sensors, switches, relays, and basic control circuits.</li><li>

   Proven ability to perform preventive maintenance on foundry machinery and equipment such as furnaces, molding machines, sand systems, shakeout equipment, conveyors, cranes, and hoists.
  </li>
  <li>
   Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience diagnosing equipment failures, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing effective repairs to minimize downtime.
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in welding and fabrication for repair or modification of equipment parts.
  </li>
  <li>
   Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  </li>
  <li>
   Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for logging maintenance activities and tracking parts usage.

   Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records, manage spare parts, and keep a clean, organized maintenance area.
