The Gateway Logistics Management Lead supports the Cargo Mission Contract team by managing integrated logistics support across NASA's Gateway Program. The Cargo Logistics Management Lead will lead the team that coordinates integration of lifecycle logistics by defining objectives, creating plans and timelines, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring overall success of logistics analysis and manifest across Artemis Programs. The Lead and supporting team will develop and implement processes and tools to identify, mitigate, and report logistics and manifest risks to the NASA Programs.</div><div> 
</div>Responsibilities:
<div>
The Gateway Logistics Management Lead will:</div><ul><li>
Perform cargo assessments for special studies
</li><li>Perform logistics assessments for Artemis Logistics Allocations
</li><li>Complete assessments on logistics impacts due to changes in vehicle capabilities 
Review Moon 2 Mars and Gateway Change Requests
</li><li>Resolve issues and documentation associated with cargo logistics (tracking of all issues, establishing deadlines, tracking open work)
</li><li>Communicate with stakeholders on open work and plan to closure
</li><li>Coordinate with stakeholders for impacts of cargo/manifest changes
</li><li>Develop/refine logistics coordination process and documentation
</li><li>Collect, analyze, and integrate Artemis Program&rsquo;s logistics/cargo data supporting the Moon 2 Mars and Gateway programs
</li><li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams on logistics/cargo requirements
</li><li>Create preliminary manifests for future Artemis missions, providing feedback and recommendations to shareholders and decision makers
</li><li>Implement tactical manifests for each Artemis mission
</li><li>Develop innovative strategies to remove roadblocks for efficient logistics and infrastructure management

Qualifications:

Required Education/Experience/Skills</div><ul><li>
BS/BA degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Management from an accredited Engineering college or university, plus four (4) or more years of professional experience, performing professional work in management, operations or systems integration

Masters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Management from an accredited Engineering college or university, plus two (2) or more years of professional experience, performing professional work in management, operations or systems integration</li><li>
Introductory knowledge of product life cycle development, systems engineering &amp; integration principles, and knowledge of associated engineering disciplines
</li><li>Excellent communication skills (in both written and verbal), integration, coordination and presentation skills 
Detail oriented, organized, and proactive
</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaboratively with customers and stakeholders
</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)</li></ul><div></div><div> 
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills</div><ul><li>
Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software: JIRA or other similar tools
</li><li>Working experience of associated engineering disciplines that integrate to address complex engineering systems
</li><li>Working experience with data digitization software (DDS) for systems engineering
</li><li>Working experience with DOORS requirements management software or other requirements management software
</li><li>Knowledge of Space Exploration programs</li></ul><div></div><div>
